So, trying to catch up some more.
For my second trip to Wimbledon HQ and camped out in the queue. I do not camp. Ever. It ws an experience to so the least. A very orderly experience. Seriously. Most organised and well run queue in the world!
Anyway - we got Centre Court tickets for the first Thursday. Second row Centre Court tickets. Before play started on court I got to see a set of Svetlana Kuznetsova on court 18. Then it was off to Centr for an enthralling 5 setter between Lleyton Hewitt and Robin Soderling, Lisicki beating Li Na and then Roger Federer. *sighs* Such an amazing player. So beautiful to watch. We did, however, get distracted by his opponent. Neither of us had seen Adrian Mannerino before but he was rather pretty :D
So, photos...
I will try and get my week in Germany and my first few days in Kent up in the next day or two.
I'm off on my first grand adventure overseas in a few weeks - An Australian Abroad. Keep up with all my shenanigans as I wander about the UK and Germany.

Cardiff
So, the day after Wimbledon HQ and I heded to Cardiff. Oh my goodness I love that city. Cardiff wins at life, the universe and everything. We found everything we wanted there - I even found a new bellydance belt! I have now eaten in the restaurant where Nine and the Slitheen ate (excellent Italian food btw), stood on Torchwood's invisible lift, been in the hospital on new Earth, stood where Jackie was before getting attacked by Autons and hugged a Dalek. It was an eventful 2 days! And I loved every second of it.
We did do non Who!verse things though. We went ot the National Museum of Wales. The have an excellent natural history section, including a part where you walk into this cave and all f a sudden you a confronted with a Woolly Mammoth and its young which move. So Awesome.
Why yes, there was a random TARDIS in the foyer of the Welsh Assembly.

Wimbledon
So, Monday morning arrived and HQ and I had Court 1 tickets to Wimbledon. WIMBLEDON.
Anyway, first up, we headed out to court 12 as Mardy Fish was playing. I heart Mardy. So pleased that the first match I have ever seen in person was a Mardy match and he won in straight sets. At Wimbledon (just in case you forgot). I took nearly 200 pictures just of Mardy in that match *sheepish*.
After Mardy's match we shopped and I bought an insanely expensive Wimbledon charm for my bracelet. Then we headed to Court 1 where we caught Berdych. What we were really waiting for though was Andy Roddick.... who we saw warm up before the rain came. :(
AT this point HQ leftbfor her Tennant appoitment and I watched the end of Jelena Dokic's match on the big screen from Centre Court before HOL joined me. Through a friend who was leaving we then managed to aquire Centre Court tickets for Andy Murray. So much fun! And great tennis.
