London part 2

Got back to London yesterdy. I'm staying in a hostel near St Paul's Cathedral.

Today was a busy one. In the morning I went to the Tower of London. I took one of the Yeoman Warder guided tours. Quite funny and we saw the main points. I think I liked the Chapel best, though no pictures were allowed. Lady Jane Grey (who I've beed interested in since I read the Gemma books) is buried there, as are two of Henry VIII's wives. I also really liked the Crown Jewels - though again, no pictures allowed obviously.

I did, however, manage to get some shots of the Tower Ravens. I've always been somewhat fascinated by the legend of the Ravens. That's why my story 'Raven' is rooted in the legend.

This afternoon was completely awesome. I went to The Doctor Who Experience at Olympi in Kensington. Oh my goodness! Costumes and huge figures of characters. A collection of the Doctor's devices, TARDIS keys and sonic screwdrivers. A mock up of the inside of Nine and Ten's control room.

But best of all was the interactive show. My very own adventure with the Doctor. I flew the TARDIS! And got captured by Daleks. I got completely freaked out by the 3D weeping angel reaching towards me. Eep! So awesome! No TARDISchrm though *pouts* The only jewellery they had were cufflinks *pouts* I have badges and a notebook though. And a professional digitally created photo of me coming out of the TARDIS :D

I flew the TARDIS! *squeaks*
