Day 1

So... fter  very long couple of flights (with much exhaustion and sore muscles) I ws met by HQ at Heathrow Airport. Woo!

She took me for breakfast at Giraffe's at South Bank. Absolutely delicious blueberry and banana pancakes. We then ealked round central London - The London Eye, Westminster and Big Ben, Downing St, Leicester Square, Nelson's Column, The Nationl Gallery, Picadilly Circus, Covent Gardens...

... and of course Forbidden Planet - possible the most awesome SciFi/Fantasy shop ever!

We had lunch at Covent Gardens and then headed back to Waterloo to pick up my suitcase at check in to my hotel. Where I proceeded to flood my bthroom floor and a 2 hur nap turned into 9 hours.
